1/2 cup Moringa leaves ~ dried
(or 4 Tablespoons of Moringa leaf powder)
1/2 cup dried Dates
1 cup Coconut ~ unsweeten shredded or flaked
1 cup Walnuts
Put all ingredients into Food Processor.
Process on medium setting until of a consistency that can hold together and be formed into balls or roll.
Form into small bite size balls, or roll into one long roll and and cut bite size pieces.
These delicious treats boost the health of both the Yang Ming and Essence vitality.

2 TB Earth Balance Butter Spread
1 cup green onion chopped
2 cloves garlic crushed
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
3 cups vegetable broth
1 (15 oz) can pure pumpkin (note: not canned pumpkin pie mix)
1 1/2 cup coconut milk (unsweetened)
2 tsp curry powder
vegan yogurt for serving (Kite Hill brand is good)
chopped chives for serving
1. In large sauce pan, saute 2minute - onion, garlic with Earth Balance Spread
2. Stir in curry powder, sea salt, cayenne pepper - cook 1 minute
3. Add broth and pumpkin - cook 20 minutes medium heat - then remove from heat.
4. Add coconut milk and cool 10-15 minutes
5. Transfer to food processor and blend until smooth
6. Transfer back to sauce pan to heat for serving temperature
7 Garnish with a dollop of vegan yogurt and sprinkle of capped chives (a very light sprinkle cayenne pepper is good for those who like it spicy and also good for warming the 'GATE of Fire' and 'Essence')
This pumpkin recipe is particularly good for fortifying Spleen Qi.
